This is Maui. We met in Bickford the other day. I was a bit confused as to why his people would name an Alaskan Husky after a Hawaiian Island, but then I realized that naming a French Water Dog Maui is just as random.Actually, it's more random because at least Alaska and Hawaii are two US states; the two non-continental US states; the two final states. Damn...his name works on so many levels. Gotta say, I'm a bit jealous.

I just met you on the pier in Halifax. Your peeps gave me a card so I checked out your blog. It looks like you are having a great vacation!
My two dogs, Hiway and Sari, are home in NY with a babysitter while I am here on vacation. When I get home I'm going to tell them all about you and your travels even though I know they are going to be a bit upset about me leaving them home while you got to go away with your peeps...
Anyway...I'll keep checking your blog to see how the rest of your vacation goes. Enjoy and be safe sweet puppy! I'm so glad I got to meet you!
